MIM/MEDA staff/missionaries reserve the right to ask any group member to change a clothing article if they deem it necessary.

Medical Needs

  • All health/medical needs and expenses while in Honduras are the group member's responsibility.

  • Groups are required to carry their own international medical policy. The policy should include emergency medical transport out of the country.

  • The medical policy will be collected five days before arrival. Group members may not arrive at MEDA without an active international medical insurance policy.

  • Group leaders are asked to communicate pre-existing medical conditions and any unique medical needs on the team to MIM at the time of application or after that, once the need is made known.

  • Though MIM seeks to ensure a safe environment for all, accidents and medical emergencies may occur.  Under such circumstances, group members, as with all MIM staff, will be dependent upon the healthcare available in the host country of Honduras.
