Is the water safe to drink?
The water on campus is safe and tested throughout the year to ensure safe water.
If I have food allergies will I be able to come?
Our cooks are excellent at cooking for people with a wide variety of different food allergies.
What is the application process?
After clicking the apply button you will fill out a short application that will let us know who you are, when you want to come, and what you would like to accomplish while here. The Program Coordinator will then be in contact with you to start the detailed planning of the trip.
Are background checks required?
Groups: Yes, the church or organization must have background checks run on all participants before arrival. The group leader then must sign a document affirming that all participants have had a background check.
Interns: Yes, MIM will run a background on each intern. The background check will be the last part of the application process. Each applicant will be sent a link to sign allowing us to perform a background check. It will be the responsibility for the applicant to pay for his or her background check.

Can we do laundry while there?
There are washing machines on campus that are available to use.
Can we use U.S. currency?
Most places accept dollars, but you will receive Honduran money in exchange.
Can I use a credit/debit card around town?
Yes, in many places you can use a debit/credit card.
Are there any forms that need to be signed before arrival?
Yes, all of the following documents must be signed by all the participants before arrival.
· Release form
· Medical form
· Recognition of policies
· Groups must also sign the Risk Mitigation form (signed only by the group leader)
How do I pay for the Internship?
The down payment is due beforehand, depending on which program you choose and will be specified in the program application. Payment information is provided during the application process.
